If you've never had a chance to go gliding with the Royal Jordanian Glider Club, I highly recommend it.
(And yes, we blew a tire on landing, which accounts for the crazy steering and sideways stop at the end.)

If you get in contact with the club, they will let you come out and ride in tandem with a pilot at a price-per-flight rate. You can also join the club and begin taking lessons, if you are so inclined. The club meets at the Marka Airport every Friday from 9 AM until sunset. Call 06-487-4587 or 079-557-0804 for details.
WOW!! I love it. I must do it.. I envy you man ... I would love to take my camera up there and enjoy snapping some amazing shots of Amman!
